Exciting news just in… The Atlantic Chelmsford is now officially a 4 star hotel!
Fresh off the back of our latest yearly inspection by The AA, The Atlantic has been officially recognised with a 4-star rating. And we couldn’t be happier about this incredible achievement. So much so that (despite having had a few days to let the news sink in) we’re still beaming away like Cheshire cats. Talk about all our Christmases come at once!
Our Extensive Redevelopment
As some of our repeat guests will no doubt have noticed, we’ve given The Atlantic Hotel a facelift recently. Rather than just giving the walls a fresh lick of paint, there has been modern, stylish furniture and fittings throughout, changing everything from our carpets to our corridors!
And it’s amazing to know that our hard work, sweat (and occasional tears) were worth it. Call us biased, but we love The Atlantic’s new look and the feedback we’ve received from our recent guests has made it all the sweeter. But now with this 4-star rating to our name, well, that really is the icing on the cake.
Different Look, Same Spectacular Food
While we may have upgraded our hotel’s aesthetics, our food, let us assure you, is just as good as ever. Sapori has long been a hit with our guests, and as they say “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” so we’ve taken that advice and kept the kitchen just how our regulars like it.
We also open up Sapori daily to non-residents too – so if you’re a Chelmsford local, and you haven’t yet been in to eat with us, pop by and say hi sometime. Sapori means flavours in Italian, which is precisely what inspires the dishes on our lunch and dinner menus. And it’s no coincidence that we’ve given Sapori a name straight out of Italy because that’s where our style of cooking comes from too. All the way from Abruzzo on the glorious Adriatic coast.
