Stayed at the Atlantic over the weekend- very pleasant staff, reception and restaurant. Very helpful and friendly! The interior is very cozy. The room was clean, the bed is comfortable, I woke up well rested. Had lovely weekend there, met my friends, so 10 out of 10

Stayed in a executive room, and it certainly was that. Lovely decor, extremely clean and all the amenities and more that you could possibly need. Reception team very friendly and efficent, night porter was also friendly and no requests were a bother for him. Waitress staff where also lovely, and the cooked breakfast was well worth the money. Ample free parking on sight and a 10 minute stroll to the town centre. Would return and certainly recommend!

Although the exterior of the hotel is not a not a lot to be desired, the rooms were really clean, spacious and the staff were so friendly. Considering we were there for a wedding, (unlike many other hotels) they were really attentive and accommodating.

The rooms are clean and perfect for a city break. Beds are massive I could not even hear my wife snore as she was that far away. Staff super and breakfast whether continental or full English really well presented . Place hard to fault except bar could open a tad earlier than 5 pm especially at weekends.

I have been staying here for best part of a year and the thing that sets it apart from other places is the staff. Everyone is so helpful and attentive. Ashley and Myriam on reception are great. Rosita, Marta, Amina and Adam in the restaurant are so good. Even the staff in the kitchen are fantastic (Andrea). The rooms are good and the location is fantastic for access to the city centre. I have tried a number of hotels in Chelmsford but always stay here if I can. Oh, by the way the food in the restaurant is awesome, especially the seafood dishes.

Great location and very helpful and pleasant staff. Plenty of choice for breakfast and staff were very happy to accommodate special diets. Rooms were clean, spacious and quiet. Even though staff were clearing away after breakfast, the morning coffee we ordered with visiting friends was served with a smile.
